The House

The House

Such peace I have never experienced...

To walk out the door and sit in our olive grove,

Or wander through the old stone town

And into the chestnut forests...

It is a magical, healing place.

A place for laughter,

For Love.

For Letting go,

For gaining new footholds,

For making new memories

And learning about oneself

About the simple things in life

And the special things in life

As much as it a special moment

Created by centuries of tradition

To relax and experience

The True, Real, Loved Italy.

The Villa San Rocco is a house whose earliest moments are estimated around 10th Century.

Many additions have been made over the last 1000 years - including extra floors, little nooks and crannies, and large reception rooms.

I have the utmost pleasure in working in cohort with Jason Beacon, proprietor, to present different lifestyle and educational schools at the Villa San Rocco, including cooking schools, an annual voice academy, landscaping and more.

Always happy to facilitate new ideas, the house is designed as a house of learning, and of good living, of pleasure and of connecting both with oneself, and others.  It is a place of rest, and learning, without pressure or obligation - we hope you come join in our courses, or just come and stay as a much loved guest of the house.

The Villa San Rocco is shortly to complete it's full restoration and renovation.  It is a magnificent house, sleeping up to 24 people with 12 rooms, a conference room, two medieval fireplaces (including one for cooking potatoes on and one for warming up your tootsies!) and two fully equipped kitchens.

The house is settled on the outer edge of the village but within walking distance to the few local shops.  Transport is available to the large and famous town of Bagni di Lucca, nestled on the river.

For more information about the schools and academys, or if you have an idea and are a teacher or presenter or potential student of a particular subject, please feel free to contact me at annalisa@annalisakerrigan.com.
